Abstract

The rise of recent accidents involving road transport mode has come to an alarming point, traffic accidents became the negative excesses of road infrastructure utilization. With the effort to know the areas prone to accident, prone points of accidents, costs of accidents, and efforts to handle accidents. Safety is a very important factor in the transportation sector and a vital need for society. Along with the increasing population of Sukabumi district annually especially in Palabuhanratu as a research object, causing the need for transportation is also increasing, indirectly will increase the risk of traffic problems growth, such as congestion and accidents, which will impact on the decline of road service performance. Therefore, there will be research on the factors that are concerned with the accident and the solution itself. The research data itself was obtained from Satafterwards Sukabumi Polres Based on the K method analysis – Means that the highest factos of the cause of the accident on Road Ahmad Yani Palabuhanratu in 2017 – 2019 is the hyman factor. As for the lowest factor is the vehicle factor.While the road and environmental factors amounted to 42.11%, as well as the vehicle factor of 10.53%. The value of AEK (the accident equivalent number) gets 141. And for the accident prone location on the road is at STA 0 + 600 (400 – 600 m) with a value of cussum 13.493 and STA 1 + 000 (800 – 1000 m) with a Value Of cussum 14.493.
