Abstract

The background of the preparation of this scientific paper is because of the high pain caused by gastritis, the percentage according to WHO is 40.8% in the Indonesian region with a prevalence of 274,396 cases from 238,452,952 people. The writing method used is descriptive method. Gatritis is a disease that can interfere with activities and can be fatal if not handled properly, consume foods that can stimulate an increase in stomach acid, such as: pickles, vinegar, chili or spicy food, smoking habits, and drinking alcohol. Regular irregular eating patterns can be affected by gastritis. One of the symptoms of gastritis is pain in the pit of the stomach, nausea, vomiting, decreased appetite. The results of the study found acute pain problems, changes in nutrition less than needed, lack of knowledge. Arranged planning refers to nursing diagnoses The results of evaluation after treatment for 3 days the problem of acute pain is resolved, changes in nutrition are less than the needs are overcome, and lack of knowledge can be overcome. In this case there is a gap between nursing theory and problems. This happens because every human being has a different response according to conditions, and situations so that the possibility of nursing problems can appear to someone but does not appear to others. Suggestions are intended so that nurses can carry out nursing care comprehensively and for families always be a good support for clients.
