Abstract

Fever is an increase in body temperature above 37.5oC common in children. The causes of fever in children are virus infection and bacteria. Management of fever in children can be reduce with pharmacology and non pharmacology. One of non pharmacology is giving onion collision. The purpose of this study is to know the influence of onion collision to reduce fever in pre school in lembursitu area. This data is obtained by using observation and interview. The author uses literature study data which is obtained from journals, books, and the internet which are related to the influence of onion collision to teduce fever. The author got one patient and got result that the fever was reduce, when giving onion collision for the first time there is a better change in data, before given onion collision temperature was 38.9oC, after given onion collision temperature was dropped to 37.1oC and dropped again to 36.8oC on the second day. The author got conclusion that there is influence of onion collision to reduce fever in pre school in lembursitu area
