Abstract

This research is a qualitative descriptive research that aims to find out how the role of information and communication technology in the online learning process of grade II SD Qur'an Al-Himmah during the Covid-19 Pandemic. This research is a qualitative descriptive study which aims to determine the role of information and communication technology in the second grade online learning process of SD Qur'an Al-Himmah, Sukabumi Regency during the Covid-19 Pandemic. The data collection technique was done by means of triangulation techniques, namely observation, interviews, and documentation to the same source, namely teachers and parents of students. Based on the research that has been done at SD Qur'an Al-Himmah, Sukabumi Regency, it can be concluded that information and communication technology includes a role as learning media, communication and consultation media, as well as information media to add insight to both teachers, students and parents especially students. during the Covid-19 Pandemic. To support the role of information and communication technology in the second grade online learning process of SD Qur'an Al-Himmah during the Covid-19 Pandemic, the popular media (application) used by teachers and students at SD Qur'an Al-Himmah is the WhatsApp Group application. as learning media, communication media and consultation media. Zoom Cloud Meeting as a virtual face-to-face learning medium, and YouTube as a medium for teachers in delivering learning materials in the form of videos and information media to add insight. The problems (constraints) faced by teachers and parents of students in the online learning process using the role of information and communication technology are unstable signals that hinder the learning process, increasing data quota costs, decreased student interest in learning due to face-to-face learning, understanding of The use of information and communication technology media and time to accompany children is limited because parents have to work at the same time.
