Abstract

The age of road pavement is regulated by conditions and needs, generally, it is planned for around 10 to 20 years which means it could remain for the first fifth year, conversely, in the reality, there are some problems with the road paving before that period. Moreover, the purpose of this study is analyzing not only the damage but also the value of road conditions and analyzing the benefits of using visual methods. A visual method that is used is the Dirgolaksono & Mochtar method. The result presented if the condition of the road broadly taken from the averagely visual-condition-value (NKV) with a value of 12.5 (no needed improvement yet) combined with Riding Quality (RQ) 1.83 (good) and drainage value 5.58 (light maintenance) south of the second segment of Sukabumi City, it can be concluded that the road is in relatively good condition.
