Abstract
Background of this research motivated by low-skills writing descriptions by students who can seen from the result of students writing. The purpose of this research to describe lesson process and the ability result of improved student writing description. Research method use Classroom Action Research using The Kemmis and Taggart cycle model. This research was conducted for 2 cycles using data collections tools like test, observation sheet and field notes. Description writing lesson using model Picture and Picture showing good process and positive response enthusiasm when they filled school worksheets. Reseach result showing lesson process using Picture and Picture model can increase skills of writing description. The enhancement can be seen from their average skills writing description of students in pre cycle is 52,38 to be 63,54 in cycle I, so increased for 11,16 on ability of writing description with copletness classical 54%. Average value skills of writing description students in cycle I was 63,54 to be 76,33 in cycle II, so have increase to be 12,79 with completness classical 93%
