Abstract

The title of this research is “Struktur Alur Pada Novel To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before Karya Jenny Han”. This research is aims to explaining plot and structure of plot on the novel, the research problem on this research is (1) how plot that found in the novel To all the boys I’ve loved before dan (2) how structure of plot that found in the novel To all the boys I’ve loved before. the significance that contained in this research expected can develop, as well as this research can increase contribution scientific especially in literature to appreciate an opus in a novel. The research method is qualitative-descriptive, the method is the most appropriate to search structure of plot in the novel To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before Karya Jenny Han. This methods describing the words that source on document as research object that used by writers is a novel. Approaches research of this novel is approach of structural. The result of research found that there are 3 plots that consisting of beginning, middle and ending (Abrams,1978). Meanwhile 7 structure of plot consisting of action plot, pathetic plot, maturing plot, testing plot, reform plot, revelation plot, education plot (Tarigan, 2015) there are 3 steps to analysis plot of methods as well as ; (1) data reduction (2) data display (3) data conclusion.
