Abstract

Blood pressure is the force exerted by blood against the walls of blood vessels against the walls of arteries when it is pumped from the heart to the tissues. Hypertension is a condition in which a person has an increase in blood pressure chronically (over a long period of time) which can cause pain to a person and even cause death. Hypertension is also referred to as “the silent killer” which can cause death without showing any signs and symptoms. There are two treatments in lowering blood pressure, namely pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment, one of which is the application of murrotal therapy from the letter of Ar-Rahman. The purpose of this paper is to reduce blood pressure before and after the application of murrotal therapy from the letter Ar-Rahman in patients. The method used in this paper is in the form of a case study. The author conducted a case study to the respondents, cellphones, and headsets. The application of the murrotal letter of Ar-Rahman is carried out once a day for 15 minutes for 7 consecutive days. The results obtained by the author when the clients has taken action on the application of murrotal therapy from Ar-Rahman’s letter, obtained a decrease in blood pressure from 155/100 mmHg to 110/90 mmHg. It can be concluded that this action is a very effective non-pharmacological therapy to lower blood pressure in patients. The author’s suggestion is that clients and families can be motivated and can apply murrotal therapy from ArRahman’s letter in lowering blood pressure and avoid excessive activity and keep the spirit to recover
