Abstract

The background of this research is that there is no known value mapping for the level of basic technical skills (passing, dribbling, and shooting) in the 2021 Tunas Abadi Sukabumi men's basketball team". Quantitative descriptive research on the basic skill level of the Men's Basketball Team of Club Tunas Abadi Sukabumi. The population is the overall research subject that is examined and the elements that exist in the research area. In this study, the researchers took the population, namely the men's basketball team players at Club Tunas Abadi Sukabumi in 2021, totaling 17 people with the category of still in high school level. The research instrument was a basketball playing skill test. With a validity of 0.804 and a reliability of 0.893 while data collection is using tests and measurements from descriptive data analysis with percentages. Based on the research that has been carried out, it shows: the level of basic skills of passing, dribbling and shooting on the men's basketball team of Tunas Abadi Sukabumi 2021 club, the results obtained are 11 players (64.70%) in the medium category, as many as 3 players (17.65%) with the category of partly enough and partly lacking, while the players with categories of very good, good, very poor and very little did not exist. This illustrates that the basic technical skills of passing, dribbling and shooting on the men's basketball team of the Tunas Abadi Sukabumi 2021 club are in the medium category.
