Abstract

Diarrhea is a condition in which a person defecates with flaccid or liquid constipation, usually three or more times a day. Diarrhea is also the main cause of pain and death in children in various countries Diarrhea can affect all age groups, especially in children, usually more susceptible to diarrhea, because the child's body defense system is not perfect. Diarrhea if left untreated can cause dehydration that disrupts electrolyte balance and can lead to dehydration, resulting in death. Handling diarrhea can be done with non-pharmacological measures that are additional actions in dealing with diarrhea such as oral administration. The general purpose of this Scientific Paper is to gain a real experience in providing nursing care for the application of oralit administration to diarrheal children. The method carried out in the preparation of this Scientific Paper is a descriptive analyst method through case studies conducted on a Child by performing oralit administration actions aimed at overcoming diarrhea problems. Based on the results of research and research from the author can conclude that the application of oralite administration is the best solution to deal with diarrhea.
