Abstract

Based on the result of interview, it was obtained that there was a phenomena of work productivity which was not in the line with the accomplished training program. It was also found that several employees conducted violation in several degrees which in affected on development of career that became a benchmark for a career of an employee. The research was aimed at describing training, career development and work productivity. Moreover, the purpose was also to analyze the influence of the role of training and career development toward work productivity at Bank BJB branch of Sukabumi. The research used quantitative research method with associative approach. Research populations were trems of the employees amounted to 140 personnel by applying saturation sampling. The data used for the research measurement used likert scale. The techniques of analyzing data applied were validity and reliability tests, as well as multiple linear regressions for proving research hypothesis. Result of the research show that (1) Training and career development variables positively and significantly influence work productivity at Bank BJB brand of Sukabumi; (2) Training and career development influence work productivity amounted to 61,2% while the rest of 38,8% is influenced by other factors not studied in the research; (3) According to the result of calculating multiple linear regressions, the equation acquired is Y = 2.397 + 0,627 X1 + 0,592 X2. The regression coefficient has positive value so it can be concluded that the influence of training and career development is positive.
