Abstract

The growing rate new student at theUniversity of Muhammadiyah Sukabumi (UMMI) annually tends to in creas by 15 %. it affects in the increase in the number of users of motorciclyles or cars in UMMI. But the increase was not balanced by the availability/land of pakrir. Therefore it is necessary to do some research to regret the problem. The research aims to analyse parking capacity, and to research the parking lot at UMMI campus. Results of the study for 6 days with an observation time of 11 hours/day acquired maximum parking accumulation of 47 vehicles for cars and 655 vehicles for the motor, maximum parking volume of 179 vehicles for cars and 3266 vehicles for motors, PTO/parking usage levels 1.1 for car vehicles and 1.1 for motor vehicles, indices maximum car parking 109.3% and 151.6% for motorcycles. This means that car parking conditions and motor problems cannot accommodate vehicles because IP > 100%. Based on the development pan of UMMI campus with the addition of a class space of 34 from 44 class to 78, so the need for parking plots to be 103 for cars and 1324 for motorcysles. So that the research proposes to anticipate the needs of parking land in the year 2024 is with the addtion of parking land availability by building a 4storey parking building covering an area of 500 m 2 .
