Abstract
This research was based on the background of the low narrative writing skills from the higher class students of elementary school. The purpose of this study describes the application of Think Talk Write (TTW) model and describes the results of the improvement of narration writing skills. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the using of a research design from Kemmis and Mc Taggart model in 2 cycles. This research is equipped with data collection in the form of test result from the writing narration skill, observation sheets, field notes and documentation. The participants in this study are 5th grader students as much as 39 students consisting of 17 male students and 22 female students. The results of the pre cycle research obtained 33% classical completeness (13 people), the cycle I obtained 69% classical completeness (27 people) and the cycle II obtained 87% classical completeness (34 people). It can be concluded that the application of the Think Talk Write (TTW) model can improve narration writing skills of the 5th grader students of Cimanggah Elementary School 2 in Sukabumi City, year of 2018/2019.
