Abstract

This study aims to improve poetry writing skills through the use of Flanelgraf media for students in high class Cipanengah CBM SDN Sukabumi City. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the John Eliot cycle model design. The research subjects were class IV 1 students at Cipanengah CBM Elementary School totaling 30 students. The study was conducted in two cycles which were completed with data collection in the form of observation sheets, test results, documentation and field notes. The results of the study on the pretest of students who obtained 10% classical completeness or a number of 3 students increased and 90% or 27 students had not increased, in the first cycle who received classical completeness 43% or 13 students and 57% or 9 students still not increase (not yet complete) and in cycle II get classical completeness 90% and 10% or no students do not complete. The conclusion of this study is that the use of Flanelgraf's media can improve poetry writing skills of students in class IV-1 of SDN Cipanengah CBM academic year 2018/2019.
