Abstract

This research has a purpose to find out the effect model of ARIAS learning about the ability to solve mathematical problems about geometry in the fifth grade of elementary school. This type of research there are in VA Class and VB Class at SDN Cikole Sukabumi. Data accumulation using test method consist of the Pretest and Posttest. In the learning experimental class using the ARIAS Model but in the Control Class using direct learning. The result shows that the students in the Experimental Class has a higher average learning that the Control Class. The final of average score experimental is 79.55 and the Control Class is 50.5. Besides the testing results from the T test shows significance score < 0.05, means that there are significant differences in results between the Experimental Class and the Control Class. It can be concluded that the ARIAS Model giving effects to solve Mathematical problems in the fifth grade of elementary school students in geometry.
