Abstract

UMKM Super Sedap is one of company, which works in ginger candy production. In its development, ginger which is one of spices that is produced from Indonesian natural resources. It is processed to become a culinary product that has high business competitiveness. There is incompatibility between consumer want and innovation from product that is produced by company. The research aims to know differentiation from ginger Super Sedap production. Research method applies qualitative method by using data collection technique such as observation, interview, documentation, and focus group disscussion. From research result that differentiation strategy that is done by company can create a unique characteristic from product, which is produced by company so that such unique characteristics company production afford to give more special for ginger candy production.
