Abstract

Healthy women is a healty woman of good whole body, soul and behaviour in the environment and a healthy society. Woman have a very vulnerable organs exposed to diseases, namely breast. The breast can be stricken by diseases, one of which we know is a cancer. Knowledge is the impression in the mind of man as a result of the use of five different sensoryonce with the beliefs, superstitions, and erroneous explanations. Breast self examination is or how a breast exam done regulary and systematically by any woman as early detection cancer. The type of research used in this research is desktriptif. This research using sampling techniques saturated with population samples as many 76 respondents. Test the validity of the 31 knowledge item variables are valid with a value of reliability 0,851. Based on the results of the research, most have a good knowledge of is 43 respondents (56,6%) and a small percentage have less knowledge is 5 respondents (6,6%). The conclusions of this research, most student semester II has a good knowledge about breast self examination. Semester II students are expected to maintain and further improve his knowledge and apply it in everyday life
