Abstract

This study aims to determine the learning model of learning cycle 5E assisted visual aids and learning model of learning cycle 5E on critical thinking skills in terms of cognitive style. The method used in this research is quantitative in the form of factorial design. The population in this study is all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Sukabumi city academic year 2017/2018. The instruments of this research are critical thinking ability tests presented in posstest form, GEFT test and observation sheet. Technique Analysis of this research is anova test of two different cell road. The result of this research are (1) There is difference of critical thinking ability among learners using learnin cycle 5E model with visual aids with learner using learning cycle 5E model; (2) There is a difference of critical thinking ability of learners who have an independent field style and learners who have field dependent style; (3) There is no difference of critical thinking ability between field independent field learners and cognitive field dependent-style learners on learning cycle 5E learning model assisted learning aids and learning cycle 5E model; (4) Cognitive field-critical thinking ability of independent learners is better than cognitive field dependent-style learners on learning cycle 5E learning model; (5) Critical thinking ability of learners in cognitive field independent field is better than cognitive field dependent-style learners using learning-learning model 5E cycle assisted props; (6) Critical thinking ability of learners with cognitive field independent style using 5E learning cycle learning model assisted equipments as well as cognitive field-independent learners using learning cycle 5E learning model; (7) Critical thinking ability of learners with cognitive field dependent style using 5E learning cycle learning model assisted as well as students with cognitive field dependent style using learning cycle 5E
