Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how the Argument Driven Inquiry model assisted by Argument Mapping has an impact on students' science communication skills in the concept of environmental pollution material, with its urgency due to the large demands in the 21st century to have qualified skills to face the global era, including students must have the ability to communicate, collaborate, think critically (critical thinking), and creativity. The population of this study is all students of grade VII MTs Nurul Huda (YASPIN) for the 2022/2023 academic year with a research sample in VII B. of 21 people with pre-experimental research methods. The research instruments used are 7 questions and attitude scale sheets. The research data were tested parametrically using normality and homogeneity tests and lastly the research hypothesis used normality and the results of this study showed that argument Driven Inquiry model on science communication skills, the highest average value is the level of knowledge (content knowledge) and the smallest value is the cognitive category (cognitive categories).
