Abstract

This study aims to compare students' mathematical communication abilities in solving problems between those using the student facilitator and explainig learning model with the contextual teaching and learning approach, the student facilitator and explaining model, and conventional learning. The research method used was Quasi Experimental with a pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study were 10th grade students of SMK as many as 132 students. The sampling technique in this study used Cluster random sampling, the sample used was 88 students divided into three classes, namely X Keperawatan 1, X Keperawatan 2, and X Keperawatan 3. Data collection used questions about students' mathematical communication abilities
