Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of leg muscle strength training and accuracy on the results of shooting at goal using the back of the foot in the men's soccer team Jampang Tengah.The research method used is an experimental method using Pre-experimental research in the form of One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design research.The population in this study is the soccer players from Central Jampang Putra. The sample in this study amounted to 20 players in the men's soccer team Jampang Tengah, this sampling used a total sampling technique. The data collection technique in this study used a test instrument to shoot the ball at the target.The data analysis technique used is the t test technique. The data is then processed and analyzed using the Paired Sample Test.The data obtained from the pretest and posttest which were assisted by using the SPSS 17 application obtained Tcount = 6.675 > T table 1.729.If seen from the significant, that the value of sig (2- tailed) is 0.000. Because the significance value is less than (α = 0.05), then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of leg muscle strength training and accuracy on the results of shooting at goal using the back of the foot in the Putra Jampang Tengah soccer team. Therefore, researchers strongly suggest that this research can be used during the soccer practice process, especially to improve shooting skills.
