Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a metabolic disease which is a collection of symptoms that arise in a person due to an increase in blood glucose levels above normal values. The purpose of this paper is to apply Five Finger Hypnosis Therapy to anxiety in diabetes mellitus patients at Puskesmas Leles Kabupaten Cianjur. This writing methodology uses case studies with data collection techniques through interviews, literature, notes and reports. The results of the writing show that there is a decrease in anxiety from a score of 15 (moderate anxiety) to a score of 12 (no anxiety). The conclusion is that five finger hypnosis therapy can reduce anxiety in cases of diabetes mellitus. It is hoped that the non-pharmacological therapy of the five-finger hypnosis application can be applied to reduce anxiety in people with diabetes mellitus.
