Abstract

Myalgia is muscle pain associated with tension due to overuse of muscles. One therapy that can be done to reduce muscle pain is herbal compress ball therapy. The purpose of this research is to apply compress ball herbal therapy to myalgia patients to reduce pain levels in myalgia patients in the working area of the Cugenang Public Health Center. This research design uses a case study method. Samples were taken by interview and observation of pain scale with face pain measuring instrument, twig scale and physical examination. The sample taken is one respondent, namely herbal compress ball therapy. Based on the results of this study, it is expected that non-pharmacological therapy of herbal compress ball therapy can be applied to reduce pain in myalgia patients. showed that the client experienced a level of pain that initially received a pain scale of 6 into 3 categories of mild pain. Based on these results, it can be concluded that herbal compress ball therapy can reduce pain scale effectively. Instruct the client for herbal compress ball therapy independently for 15 minutes if pain occurs.
