Abstract

ENENG NURLATIFAH MUNGGARAN. 2021. The Role of the Selakaso Women Farmer Group in Increasing Farmers' Income in Babakan Village, Cibeureum District, Sukabumi City. Under the guidance of ENDANG TRI ASTUTININGSIH and RENY SUKMAWANI. The Selakaso Women Farmers Group is a forum that provides opportunities for women to participate in advancing the agricultural sector. The Women Farmers Group has three roles, namely as a vehicle for learning, a vehicle for cooperation and a production unit implemented by KWT Selakaso in counseling activities, gymnastics activities and production activities. This study aims to determine the role of KWT in increasing farmers' income. The method used in this research is descriptive method and quantitative approach with research techniques using survey methods. Based on the results of the analysis that has been carried out in this study, it is known that the income of farmers from KWT Selakaso is significantly influenced by the time allocation of farmers in extension activities and the allocation of farmers' time in production activities. To increase the contribution of farmers' income, KWT needs to increase the time allocation through extension activities and production activities related to product processing training to increase the added value of KWT products and farmers' income, especially in handling sorghum production.
