Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of training media modification on the service ability of female extracurricular volleyball participants at Public Senior High School 1 Cisaat, Sukabumi Regency. This study used a quantitative method of Pre-Experimental Design, namely by using the One-Group PretestPosttest Design. The population of this study was taken from the number of female volleyball extracurricular participants at the Cisaat 1 Public Senior High School, Sukabumi Regency, totaling 20 people. The sampling technique used in this study was saturated samples. This research is: (1) training program (2) modification test of training media on the ability of the upper service. Based on the calculation results using the analysis technique of normality test, F-test and T-test. The results showed that the average value of the mean value obtained during the initial test was 5.23 with a standard deviation of 3.77. While the final test results showed an average value of 8.05 with a standard deviation of 4.09. And the results of the gain score showed an average value of 2.83 with a standard deviation of 1.27. So it can be concluded that there is an improvement from the initial test and the final test. And the results of the hypothesis can also be concluded that ᵗcount (3.209)> ᵗtable, (1.729), then Ho is rejected. So it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of Modification of Training Media on the Service Ability of Women's Extracurricular Volley Participants in Public Senior High School 1 Cisaat, Sukabumi Regency.
