Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify and get information about the magnitude of the covid-19 pandemic impact for teachers in applying online moddes, especially to IPS studies in 4th grade schools. Research methods use descriptive qualitative as they analyze a problem. On qualitative research it is not a test or rejection of a hypothesis, but it is inclined to come up with a new problem. In this study as many as 3 teachers attended an elementary school in Sukabumi. For the purposes of secrecy the respondents were given the initials Mrs NK, Mrs MA, and Mrs RN. Data collection techniques using interviews and documentaries of photographs and audio recordings. Research uses structured interviews with questions compiled based on the development of related literature. The responders for this study were 4.1, 4.2, and 4.3 at SDN Cipanegah CBM. The results of this study are the positive effects that teachers feel in applying the online mode of flexibility and energy saving learning. While the negative effects that teachers experience in applying online mode learning that wasteful of the internet, learning requirements are not fully extended and cannot see the student learning process directly, causing the assesments process to be ineffective.
