Abstract

This research is a research on the Identification of the Need for Learning Media for Augmented Reality at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Sukabumi City, which aims to determine how much the need for visual learning media based on three dimensions (3D), in this case is Augmented Reality (AR) learning media, which is then to increase motivation. student learning, as well as increasing student knowledge about the development of learning media technology that is currently available, and also because 3D-based visual learning media have not been implemented in class X-TKJ in Digital Communication Simulation subjects, so students tend to look bored and want new learning media. Data collection methods used by researchers were interviews with pengampu teachers, and through classroom observations. With AR learning media, it is expected to enrich the learning media used by teachers and facilitate the process of transferring knowledge from teachers to students, in digital communication simulation subjects, class X-TKJ at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Sukabumi City.
