Abstract

The problems that occur in this study are based on the writer's observation that when competing at UKM Universita Muhammadiya Sukabumi players, it was difficult to get past opponents and compete for speed to win the ball. This study aims to determine how well the speed of UKM soccer players at the University of Muhammadiyah Sukabumi in 2019. The method used in this study is a survey method to get data from certain natural places. The design in this study uses descriptive research. The population of Muhammadiyah Sukabumi students enrolled in soccer SMEs to participate in the 2019 Sukabumi League, as many as 30 people with an average age of 19 years. The sampling technique is the total sample with tests and measurements. The conclusion of this research is 0% is categorized as very good, 0% is categorized as good, 0% is categorized as medium, and 100% is categorized as low. So it can be concluded that Muhammadiyah Sukabumi University UKM soccer players are categorized as not having good speed as a soccer player.
