Abstract
This research tittle is The Code Mixing English Teacher Santiwithaya School In The Province Of Krabi Southern Thailand. This research aims at describing the types of code mixing English teacher in Santiwitthaya School at Krabi province, southern Thailand, in communicating and learning process in the classroom. Furthermore, this research also aims at finding out the factors of code mixing to the English teacher in Santiwitthaya School at Krabi province, South Thailand, in communicating during the teaching and learning process in classroom. The methode applied in this research was descriptive qualitative with sosiolinguistic approach. The data was obtained by technique see and note technique. Analysis techniques Processing and analysis of data was obtained by data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results of the research are; (1) types of code mixing existence 2 things, (a) insertion, includes: insertion in word form, insertion in phrase form and insertion in sentence form (b) alternation, includes: alternation in word form and alternation in phrases form. (2) The causes of code mixing include two factors, are; (a) Non-linguistic factors, include: Social Value and development and introduction with new culture (b) Linguistic factors, include: Low frequency of word and Oversight.
