Abstract
DERRA NURABIYAH ALMUTAWAKKIL. Beef Supply Chain at Traditional Market in Sukabumi City. Supervised by Ashrul Tsani, and Reny Sukmawani. The purpose of research is to find out the beef supply chain in the traditional market of Sukabumi City. The method of the research is descriptive method with interview tools and questionnaires. The results of the research is supply chain business processes are obtained from Australian imported cattle which is fattened during 6 months. Then marketed in the form of beef to traditional markets, retail, industrial consumers and end consumers at different prices for each supply chain customer. In every chain transaction that exists between information, a sale and purchase transaction occurs and the transfer between material and currency. Resources in supporting the passive chain of additional Human Resources and Capital Resources. Advice for farmers should add partner between farmers to improve beef cattle productivity. While for the government must provide support like information, knowledge, motivation, technology as well capital and supporting materials for breeders in order to reduce the amount of beef imports in Indonesia.
