Abstract

PT. Fahmi Cipta Abadi is a local company (Home Industry) engaged in the sector of automotive and electrical component manufacturing. The research was triggered by the problem identified in terms of Employee performance which was predicted to be caused by Skill and Working Experience. Therefore, the research was aimed at finding out the influence of Skill (Variable X1) and Working Experience (Variable X2) towards Employee Performance (Variable Y). The research methods applied were descriptive and associative. The techniques of collecting data applied were observation, interview, questionnaire, documentation and literature review. The techniques of analyzing data applied were commenced from preparing data, tabulating data to testing phase. Based on the data acquired from the result of analysis, it shows that the influence of skill variable toward employee performance is amounted to 0.569, while the influence of working experience towards employee performance is amounted to 0.684; thus, the influence of skill and working experience towards employee performance is amounted to 0.951, while the influence of other factors out of the research is aggregated to 9.6%. The result of calculation of Hypothesis is F count > F table, which namely is 141.252 > 3.30 so that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. It means that there is significant influence between skill and working experience towards employee performance. The implication for PT. Fahmi Cipta Abadi is that the company has to fix and improve its employee performance through several factors, especially skill and working experience and generally through other factors not explained in the research. In other words, PT. Fahmi Cipta Abadi can fix and improve employee performance through factors that can give it influence.
