Abstract
The research was aimed at determining and describing the strategy of Public Relations at Assyifa Islamic Hospital in order to improve positive image in Sukabumi City. As a matter of fact, the hospital was awarded the Brand Top Refferral in 2016 by the Healthcare and Social Security Agency (BPJS). The research applied qualitative method by means of analytic-descriptive approach, a research attempting to describe and descript the object based on facts found in the field with the help of informants as the resource. The data presented in the research were primary and secondary data resulted from in-depth interview, field observation, documentation, related reference and internet. The result of the research shows that the Public Relations practitioners at Assyifa Islamic Hospital Sukabumi, in improving the hospital’s positive image, deploy 5 approaches or strategies of Public Relations. The 5 strategies are operational strategy, educative and persuasive approach, social responsibility, corporation approach, as well as integrative and coordinative approach.
