Abstract

The leadership of HIMPAUDI leader is required to improve professional competence of PAUD teachers and should keep being improve to meet the standards in demand. Teacher’s professionalism is supported by the quality and characters which is accountable not only for personal improvement but also for social life in the community. As a leader, she is expected being able to use her authority or influential nature in manifesting and achieving organisational objectives. Data shows that PAUD teacher’s in Sukabumi Region is less professional and do not meet the standard of PAUD teacher’s qualification. From the total of non formal PAUD teacher’s existed in Sukabumi Region, only 0,9% who have met the standard and had linear education certificate. This is to be the issue and obstacle as well thet needs to be overcome in creating professional educators. The objective of this study is to see the influence of the leadership of HIMPAUDI leader on the professionalism improvement of non formal teacher’s in Sukabumi Region. The research is descriptive study with applying quantitative approach. Data analyses technique used statistical technique. Subject of this study is 110 non formal PAUD teacher’s in Sukabumi Region. Data collection method used in this study is Survey Method. Analyses data technique used statistical technique is needed to analyses sample data, which is applied for population. The results of this study shows that there is influence of HIMPAUDI leader’s leadership on professionalism improvement of non formal teacher in Sukabumi Region as much 61,1%.
