Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of inventory turnover on the level of liquidity in basic and chemical industry companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The research method used in this research is an associative method that is to know the relationship between variables. The population and sample in this research are financial statements of basic and chemical industry companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2012-2017. The data source used is secondary data. While the analysis technique used is simple regression analysis technique. The results showed that inventory turnover had a positive and significant effect on the liquidity of the basic and chemical industry companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. It is proven from the calculation of SPSS, that t arithmetic inventory turnover is 2.135> t table 2.052, this means that Ha accepted and H0 rejected. For significance t arithmetic is at 5% significance that is with sig. 0.042 <0.05, which means there is a significant influence between the inventory turnover on the level of liquidity.
