Abstract

The research is entitled "Competence Influence toward Employee Work Performance at Publik Work of Spatial Plarnning Housing. Residence, and Land Service Sukabumi Municipality". The research background is interested in phenomenon of there is no activity to increase employce competence regularly, employee work quality is not optimal yet, low work employee productivity, lack of employee skill in using computer facility, and annual repont of 2017 that is not finalized yet. Grand theory applied competence variable thoory from Spencer which consisted of dimension: motive, traits, self concept, knowledge, and skill. Mcanwhile employee work performance variable theory applied Wibowo that consisted of dimension: productivity, quality, punctuality, cycle time, use of human resource, and cost. Research method applied survey method with associative qualitative approach. Sample collection technique is sampling census with the total population member of 38 employee and data collection technique applied observation, imterview, questioner, and literature study. Based on research result, correlation coefficient shows a strong relation between competence with employce work performance that is as much as 0.819. Meanwhile determination cocfficient shows that competence has significant influence toward employee work performance at Employee Work Performance at Publik Work of Spatial Planning. Housing, Residence, and Land Service Sukabumi Municipality that is 67.0 %. It can be concluded that competence and employee work performance has had good implementation. The suggestion that employee is more develop by education participation and trannimg routinely and leader has to give more motivation and assertive to employee so that it has more motivation to develop competency therefore it can inccase work performance at such service.
