Abstract

Environmental literacy is one of the competencies that must be possessed by human resources in dealing with the 21st century. This study aims to determine the correlation between indicators of knowledge and cognitive skills with indicators of attitude and behavior of environmental literacy. The type of research used is quantitative descriptive analysis with correlational methods. The subjects of this study were students of class X MAN 2 Kota Sukabumi, totaling 20 students determined by a sampling technique, namely purposive sampling. The instruments used were multiple choice questions and an attitude scale questionnaire. The results of this study show that knowledge and cognitive indicators with environmental literacy attitude and behavior indicators have a sig. 0.687 value with a person correlation of 0.096. These results show that there is no significant correlation between cognitive knowledge indicators and students' environmental literacy attitudes and behaviors and shows a very low level of relationship.
