Abstract

Soil is the most important part in a construction so that it can support the building on it with factors that influence the type of soil (soil classification), the bearing capacity of the foundation and the method used during the soil investigation. Pile foundation is one type of deep foundation that is widely used in multi-storey building construction because the resulting bearing capacity will be greater, the deeper and wider the cross-section, the stronger the foundation bearing capacity. One of the methods of soil investigation that is often used is sondir or CPT (Cone Penetration Test) because it can be done quickly and economically as well as more accurate readings in determining the hard soil layer but the type of soil is not directly obtained, therefore a special android application was made to calculate the results of sondir (CPT) so that it can be directly known the type of soil (soil classification) and the bearing capacity of the deep foundation according to the hard soil obtained, namely at a depth of 2.8m and 5.4m with a cone resistance (qc) value of 30 kg/cm² & 170kg /cm², total resistance (qt) 40 kg/cm² & 180kg/cm² local friction value (fs) 0.65 kg/cm² & 0.65kg/cm², total soil shear (TCF) 63.53 kg/cm² & 290 ,42kg/cm², friction ratio (Rf) 2.16% & 0.38% then the known soil type at a depth of 2.8m is clay or silty clay and to a depth of 5.4m solid sand, gravel sand, coarse sand, sand very dense silt with the bearing capacity of the foundation in he circular cross section of 299,28ton and 217,94ton for the square cross section.
