Abstract

PT Banten Planting is a company that produces raw rubber as a commodity. Raw rubber is rubber latex (latex) which is processed into rubber sheets. In the sales process, PT Banten Planting sells raw rubber to other companies that need raw rubber as raw material for their production. Often market demand does not match the amount of production, this results in delays in the sales process such as lack of stock when demand increases and stockpiling of goods when demand decreases. Problems like this can be overcome by using a prediction system, which is a system that can predict sales that will occur in the future, Monte Carlo is one of the methods commonly used to calculate predictions with past data. The purpose of this study is to predict the demand for raw rubber at PT Banten Planting using demand data from 2017 to 2021. The results achieved in this study are predictions of demand for raw rubber every month with an average accuracy of 83.1%.
