Abstract
Learning the introduction of the solar system for elementary school students today who still use books and pictures is one of the problems that makes students less active because they do not provide real time feedback. Therefore, it is necessary to have learning media that can increase student activity and provide feedback in real time. So the researchers took the initiative to make an Android-based solar system Augmented Reality learning application that was more interactive and interesting for elementary school students. This app is built with Unity software, plus the Vuforia SDK and Android SDK assets. The design result of this solar system AR application is an AR planet accompanied by audio information, video animation, text, and can display 3D objects rotating 360 degrees. The method used for making this application is Marker User Defined Target and the development method used is the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) which consists of 6 stages, namely concept, design, material collection, manufacturing. (Assembly), testing (Testing), and distribution (Distribution).
