Abstract

Diarrhea is a state of defecating more than 3 times in one day with a liquid or soft consistency. Diarrhea is a condition where the consistency of the stool is soft or liquid, it cam even be just water and the frequency is move than usual, 3 or more time a day. The impact or physical problems that will occur if diarrhea is not treated will result in sadden loss or fluids and electrolytes. This data was take using a case study in community on may 26 to may 28, 2022 using observation techniques, interviews and the author also used a literature study where data were obtained from journals, books and the internet related to the application of guava leaves to treat diarrhea in children toddler age (1-3 years). Guava leaves are useful as anti diarrhea intestinal in flammation, dysentery and digestive disorders because the contain tannins as anti-microbial substances, this administration can be applied to children aged 2 years can be given thin liquid twice a day as much as 2 table spoons, adults are given 1 cup a day. With this advice, of articel is table to increase insight and help activities that have been given to the client’s family who can apply guava leaves in dealing with diarrhea problems in children.
