Abstract

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is a disease caused by Dengue virus which belongs to the genus Flavivirus, family Flaviviridae which has 4 types of sterotypes. Based on the description above regarding the importance of efforts to increase platelet levels due to dengue fever, the author seeks to conduct a scientific paper on "Application of Guava Juice to Overcome the Impact of Thrombocytopenia in An. S children aged 14 years (school age) due to Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever at Asyyifa Islamic Hospital, Sukabumi. This data was taken using a case study at the Assyifa Sukabumi Islamic Hospital on May 9, 2022 to May 12, 2022 in the Yukasya Araffah 3 room using observation, interviews, and the authors also used literature study data where data were obtained from journals, books, and the internet related to the application of guava juice in children due to dengue hemorrhagic fever. Guava juice contains Thrombinol which plays an important role in delivering increased production of platelets in the body. The administration can be applied for 4 days which is explained in the journal that by consuming guava juice for 4-5 days the problem of thrombocytopenia can be resolved and children can avoid the risk of bleeding. From the results of this study, hopefully it can be used as a reference material and a comparison for future researchers and can add insight for the author, also able to help the client's family to know and implement the activities that have been given to the client's family to be able to maintain, and improve health so as to be able to apply home care with the explanation given.
