Abstract

The number of natural disasters in 2022 that occurred in Sukabumi during the last 3 months has increased, floods followed by landslides being the most frequent disasters and leaving a lot of material losses. Apart from leaving material losses, there are many other impacts, such as causing prolonged trauma. This was also felt by the children affected by the land movement disaster that occurred in 2019 in Gunung Batu Village, Nyalindung Subdistrict, Sukabumi Regency, which until now is still in Temporary Residential. The purpose of this case study is to address the anxiety felt by the children affected by the disaster. And play therapy is one technique that can be used to recover from prolonged trauma. The methods used in writing scientific papers are interviews and observations. The case study conducted on An. A who is 5 years old with an anxiety nursing diagnosis, it was found that the client data felt afraid of earthquakes and thunder, the client's face was tense and embarrassed when he was invited to talk with the results of anxiety measurements using the HRS-A measuring instrument and obtained a score of 21 which means the client is in the moderate anxiety stage. , with nursing interventions to be carried out is to provide therapy playing mini basketball, fishing for magnetic fish and singing together.
