Abstract

Hypertension is one of most commont and most widely cardiovascular disease that experience in society, since hypertension is a risk factor from other disease such as Coronary Heart Disease, Chronik kidney Disease, Diabetes Melitus and Stroke. (kementerian kesehatan RI, 2019). Hypertension can be controled with pharmacology therapy also non pharmacology therapy. On non pharmacology therapy it believe is more safely and can give positive affect. One of non pharmacology therapy for hypertension disease is benson relaxation therapy. The result of this therapy is to know how affect this therapy for blood pressure reduction. This methode use pretest system and posttest. This therapy gived for twice a day within 7 days, with blood pressure check before therapy or called pretest and blood pressure recheck after therapy called posttest. The result after this benson relaxation therapy give the client for reduction blood pressure from 170/110 mmHg to 140/90 mmHg. It can be concluded for this relaxation therapy affected for reduction blood pressure.
