Abstract
Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is often referred to as diabetes is a condition in which the body cannot produce insulin as needed or the body cannot use the insulin produces optimally so that there is a spike in blood sugar levels beyond normal. Diabetes mellitus can be controlled by pharmacological and non-pharmacological therapy. One of the management of diabetes mellitus with non-pharmakological is walking exercise therapy. The peper aims to determain the application of walking exercise with unstable blood sugar levels in diabetes mellitus. This writing method uses case studes. The author does exercise theraphy walkig once a day for three days in a row. Walking exercise therapy is done for 30 minutes. The result obtain after therapy were a decrease in blood sugar levels from 240mmol/L to 180mmol/L. It can be concluded that there is a significant effect of giving walking exercise therapy on the instability of blood sugar levels.
