Abstract
Teachers need to create interesting learning in the classroom, for creating fun learning activities. One of them is by using learning media that is adapted to the characteristics of students. This study aims to develop Student Worksheets based on audio-visual and comic strips with guided discovery learning methods in learning to write reviews for class XI high school students. The type of research used is research and development (R&D), using the ADDIE development model, namely Analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The Student Worksheets was tested on 32 students in high school. The resulting of Student Worksheets proved to be very valid with an average value of 90% and the practicality of the Student Worksheets based on student and teacher responses proved to be 88.42% categorized as very practical. In addition, the Student Worksheets proved to be effective in improving student learning outcomes, based on the results of the N-Gain analysis of the students' pretest and posttest scores, which showed that the Student Worksheets proved effective by obtaining an N-Gain score of 0.715
