Abstract

The study aims to know more about the learning process of improving students' initial writing skills by applying Lartasatu Media. The object of this research will be focused on the second-grade students of SDN Puncakbatu. Media Lartasatu is then used to hope that it can overcome the issue of students' writing skills, especially for those who are still laymen. Test and non-test techniques will be used in this study, where the test technique will be in the form of students' initial writing results by having the students write a simple description of some animals and plants in the written form. In contrast, the non-test technique will be from observing the classroom activities between the teacher and the student during the learning process. The results show an increase in initial writing skills, which can be seen from the rise in the score of students who passed the KKM score in the first cycle by 60% to 100% in the second cycle.
