Abstract

After 4 years to get a degree. Physical education students will face the world of work for the continuation of their careers, in the world of work fresh graduates of physical education must have good self-efficacy and self-esteem because these 2 things must be owned by every individual. This research is aimed to identify Self Efficacy and Self Esteem readiness for fresh graduate students Physical Education in the face of the world of work. The research method used in this study is a quantitative research method with the aim of knowing the work readiness of Fresh Graduate Students of Physical Education and the research design used is descriptive with a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique used is a total sampling of 40 respondents of 22 graduates in 2021 and 18 graduates in 2022 Physical Education Students, Muhammadiyah University of Sukabumi. The instrument used for data collection is a data collection technique in the form of a questionnaire or questionnaire which contains 30 questions. The data analysis technique used is Likert scale analysis. The results of the percentage of Self Efficacy and Self Esteem in dealing with the world of work show the average value of self efficacy is 91.2 with a percentage of 76% and the average value of self-esteem is 83.4 with a percentage of 69.5%. These results indicate that the readiness of Self Efficacy and Self Esteem of Fresh Graduate Physical Education students in facing the world of work shows high results. These results indicate that the Fresh Graduate Students of Physical Education at the Muhammadiyah Sukabumi University are ready to face the world of work.
