Abstract

Catfish is a freshwater animal that is widely consumed by humans.diseases suffered by catfish can attack catfish and hinder the cultivation process. Disiases in catfish genrally occur in ponds that are poorly maintained, But that does not mean that if the pond is clean and cared for, It will be free from pests and diseases.if the number of catfish affected by the disease is counted in large numbers, Then the farmer can experience losses. This study aims to assist catfish farmers in diagnosis diseases in these fish according to information from experts through a consultation application.expert systems generally discuss related to human knowledge that is transferred into a system in order to facilitate user consultation with experts.application are made using the forward chaining method because to make decisions from the facts it takes a search that starts from the goal and produces cocclusions.this research is to make a consultation application on catfish and provide solutions and prevention.
