Abstract

When a person reaches a certain stage of development, each person's body and behavior will experience predictable changes, such as the elderly.the process that leads to physical, physical and social physical changes is the aging process.one of the diseases closely related to the aging process is blood loss disorders or cardiovascular disease. Hypertension is a condition when systolic blood pressure is more than 120 mmHg & diastolic pressure is more than 80 mmHg. The purpose of this study was to analyze the application of red dragon fruit juice (Hyloceureus polyhizus) in elderly people with high blood pressure in Cianjur region. This study uses a case study method. This research data was taken by interview and observation method. . Participants were taken as many as one respondent, a 67- year-old elderly person who experienced a rise in blood pressure. The action given is red dragon fruit juice as much as 200 ml derived from 100 grams of red dragon fruit meat given 2 times a day for 3 consecutive days.the results showed a decrease in blood pressure. Based on these results, it can be concluded that red dragon fruit juice can lower blood pressure.
