Abstract

Stroke is a sudden loss of brain function, which is caused by impaired blood flow to the brain. Disruption of blood flow or rupture of blood vessels causes brain cells (neurons) in the affected area to die. Researcher Objectives To understand and apply nursing care with ROM (Range Of Motion) exercises for impaired physical mobility. The design of this study used the methods of interview, observation and physical examination. Participants taken as many as 1 respondent, namely clients who experience physical mobility disorders. The action given is ROM (Range Of Motion) exercise for 4 consecutive days and is done 2x a day. The results of this study showed that the client experienced an increase in muscle strength which initially scored 3 to 4. Based on these results it can be concluded that ROM exercises can increase muscle strength.
